Imaged the classroom workstations using Altiris, installed software (including Windows and Linux operating systems), inventory control, troubleshooting network, software, and hardware issues, installed hardware, updated computers, researched and tested various open source utilities, set up computer labs with required software for classes. Created and managed Access databases. Created and managed VMWare servers and workstations.


Self Employed June 1988 – February 2006

Race horse trainer before starting college. After finishing a Bachelor's degree at Washington State University, became a commercial airplane pilot and flight instructor. After a layoff the day after 911 when going through the airline hiring process as a pilot, owned and operated a commercial plant nursery while competing with horses at the national level. After the death of my horse, I went back to college to become a network administrator.
